
Creamy Mushroom & Sausage Rigatoni Bake
A hearty baked pasta dish combines savory chicken sausage with a rich and creamy mushroom sauce, all baked with rigatoni and topped with melted cheese. It's a perfect weeknight meal that's sure to please.

Preheat oven
- 375°F (190°C)
Cook pasta
- Boil rigatoni in salted water for 1–2 minutes less than package instructions (it will finish cooking in the oven). Drain and set aside.
Prepare sausage mixture
- Heat a skillet over medium heat.
- Sauté the sliced onion and garlic until translucent and fragrant.
- Add the grilled sliced sausages and cook until slightly browned.
Combine sauce and pasta
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked rigatoni, sausage-onion mixture, and cream of mushroom soup.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional herbs.
Assemble bake
- Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle cheese evenly on top (reserve a little for a golden topping if you like).
Bake
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake an additional 10–15 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Optional: broil 2–3 minutes for a golden crust.
Serve hot
- Garnish with chopped parsley or basil for color.
