Ingredients:
- 14 oz bag pre-shredded coleslaw mix
- 1/2 cup Miracle Whip
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or white vinegar if you prefer sharper flavor)
- 1 tbsp sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp celery seed (optional but adds classic slaw flavor)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions:
- Make the dressing:
In a medium bowl, whisk together Miracle Whip, vinegar, sugar, celery seed, salt, and pepper until smooth. - Mix the slaw:
In a large mixing bowl, add the shredded cabbage mix. Pour the dressing over it. - Toss to coat thoroughly until everything is evenly dressed.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving (1–2 hours is ideal). This helps the flavors meld and softens the cabbage slightly.
Optional Add-ins:
- 1–2 tbsp finely diced onion or green onion
- 1 tsp Dijon or yellow mustard for extra zip
- 1/2 apple (shredded) for a hint of sweetness
- 1 tbsp pickle juice (especially if you like a sharper tang)
