Ingredients
  

  • 7 Jumbo eggs
  • 1 Cup Milk or cream for richer toast
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar optional
  • 1 Tsp Ground cinnamon
  • A pinch of salt
  • 12 Slices of bread thick-cut, softer style preferred
  • Butter or oil for greasing the pan

Method
 

Prepare the batter
  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar (if using), cinnamon, and salt until the cinnamon is evenly distributed.
Soak the bread
  1. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring both sides are well coated but not overly soggy.
Cook the toast
  1. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and grease with butter or oil. Place the soaked bread on the skillet and cook until golden brown on each side, about 2–3 minutes per side.
